As of New Years Eve 2009, I am beginning a new project which I will be occupying the majority of my time to. Over the past week, I have been working with the storyline of Half-Life and it's sequel games, and have come up with a story that fills the gap between Half-Life 1 and Half-Life 2 (Believed to be that of 10-12 years). Now I am still unsure where this story will be placed, whether its in the form of a game, or the form of a book, I am leaving it open. This story talks about a man named Nathan, who goes from an average man to a lambda resistance fighter in a matter of weeks. He survives the portal storms, the seven hour war, and is a key role in the success of Gordon Freeman. He sees first hand the destruction caused by both sides, and in the end, his fate is decided by the explosion of the Citadel's dark fusion reactor (the first time when Gordon tries to disable the Combine Portal). This story is sure to be popular among Half-Life fans and newcomers alike, because it does not assume you know what is happening.
